Hello, I'm Wubshet. I'm a self-taught senior engineer with 6+ years shipping production apps: NestJS microservices on the back end, React, Next.js & Vue on the front. Since 2025 I also run web3 technical recruiting, sourcing and endorsing the engineers behind the code I read.

◆About me◆

I'm a self-taught senior full-stack engineer with 6+ years shipping production web apps: NestJS microservices with BullMQ, Redis and Grafana/Loki observability on the back end, and React, Next.js, Vue/Nuxt and React Native on the front. I originally graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Water Supply and Sanitary Engineering, and spent years as a site engineer, project manager and contractor on MEP installation projects before I was drawn into programming as a way to automate and solve problems more effectively.

Since 2025 I also run technical recruiting for web3 teams, owning the full pipeline from sourcing to live technical assessment to client endorsement. I can read the code, so I know who I'm endorsing — an engineer's eye on both sides of the table: I build the systems, and I assess the people who build them.

Trained as an engineer before ever writing a line of code: designed and implemented sanitary project structures, and learned to analyse complex technical information and turn it into decisions a team can act on.

2013 - 2017

Senior Front-end Engineer

Cytric.io

Front-end for cutting-edge web3 applications for high-profile clients, owning overall app flow and state management. Shipped wallet and trading apps for iOS & Android in React Native (bare workflow and Expo) with Redux, drove UI decisions with leadership, and wrote and maintained the Vitest test suite for new and legacy apps.

2020 - Jul 2023

Lead Front-end Engineer & Backend Engineer

Infratech Software Solutions

Lead front-end for web apps and admin portals serving government and NGO clients. Backend engineer on a TikTok-style video & music sharing app built on NestJS with BullMQ + Redis message queuing, full-stack observability with Loki + Grafana, plus a multi-tenant SaaS platform and several e-commerce builds.

Senior Front-end Engineer (part-time)

iBrave Technologies PLC

Built ibrave.co from scratch in React.js with TanStack Query. Led the admin portal for a tipping application in Nuxt.js (Vue), contributing to the Django backend alongside the API team, and built a construction e-commerce application in Next.js now heading to deployment.

Own the end-to-end hiring pipeline for web3 and infrastructure clients: intake, sourcing, outreach, technical assessment, endorsement and offer support. Placed a smart contract developer, a Golang developer and a quantum infrastructure developer, together generating $260,000+ in commission for the firm.
